Mazatlan Abuela

I saw this lady as I wandered about looking up at the architecture of her small village outside of Mazatlan.  I felt someone looking at me and then felt an instant connection when I realized while I was looking at her village she was looking at me.  I asked for "una foto, por favor."  She gave a slight nod and continued without changing expression to look straight at me for my photo.   I wonder if she would ever believe how beautiful I found her to be.  She hangs next to my bed as my muse telling me everyday to get up and paint.
